Realize ROI of AI? Reinvent Leadership.
According to McKinsey’s The State of Organizations 2026 report “tectonic forces are reshaping organizations and will continue to define their success in the years ahead.” These are, unsurprisingly, disruptions in technology, economics, and the workforce.
Only a decade ago technological implementations and the resulting adaptation to change was an occasional event. Team members who were highly effective using their “old” processes, prior to the implementation, might be reluctant or resistant to adopt, especially when challenges arose. Change Managers might have been brought in to help guide adoption of the “new” processes and increase the likelihood of success. Even so, transformations and smaller technological deployments seldom produced the anticipated ROI.
Change has continued to accelerate. Those being “asked” to adapt often experience overwhelm and change fatigue. Benefits of investment continue to fall short.
Now, change is constant. AI is iterating and advancing at what had been an unimaginable pace. Additionally, the pressure to increase productivity is driving organizations to implement AI and Agents. Old methods of leadership rarely support this constant change, or help team members feel less stressed: The McKinsey report states that 88% of the organizations surveyed have been deploying AI, with no significant bottom-line impact.
To thrive, and to Effectively Realize anticipated ROI, organizations must become resilient. The McKinsey report notes that “To remain competitive, organizations need to transcend traditional structures, redefine leadership, and refocus on performance to navigate ongoing disruption.” They also note that “human-centred” leadership improves decision-making, adaptability and resilience.
The Problem to be Solved isn’t the former one where individuals were reluctant to “Adopt Change”.
The Problem is lack of built-in resilience.
The Solution is Leadership that creates the environment to realize the full potential of their teams: An environment where growth, adaptation and resilience is normal.
So how does an organization get “there”?
By refocusing leadership to maximize the human potential within the teams, creating the environment that supports teams and team members to actively expand the radar of the leader, recognize and discuss opportunities and risks, and to utilize their individual and collaborative strengths to adjust and adapt: to seize opportunities to expand and grow as a team and an organization.
Maximize Potential: To accomplish this, Leaders must recognize the potential on the teams, and actively work to unleash the individual and combined strengths within of every member of the team, and the team as a whole.
Our Vision: Organizations where leadership unlocks the full potential of their teams — and teams expand the potential of their leaders. The result: resilient, adaptive organizations that don't “manage” change, they generate it.
The question isn't whether change will disrupt your organization: It's whether your leadership is built to generate it rather than absorb it.
